We are pleased to have for this year’s guest speaker Mr. Don Van Meer – Former CEO of Carswell (Thompson Reuters)
Don lives near Richmond Hill and has led a team of over 1000 people for almost 20 years. He has seen transition in industry and is currently the Board Chair for Power to Change.

Lillian Jones Award Winner – Bert Logan – a key founder of Christian hockey in the Barrie area and a key organizer in “Night to Shine” (mentally disabled persons prom)
The annual Barrie Prayer Breakfast is a community event that takes place on the first Wednesday of October at the Southshore Community Centre, 205 Lakeshore Dr. It begins at approximately 7:25 a.m. and includes a guest speaker. While historically focused on community leaders, it is open to all community members.
